2nd School of Neuroscience:
Unveiling Molecular Basis of Brain Diseases

13-17 April 2026

The second edition of the Neuroscience School is organized in collaboration with the Neuroscience PhD programs of the University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy), University of Helsinki (Finland), and Aarhus University (Denmark). This Education and Training Cluster has been originally promoted by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and aims at improving the scientific training of the PhD students, taking advantages from the specific and different expertise of the cluster partners.

This springer school will involve internationally recognized neuroscientists as teachers and will give the selected students the opportunity to face with several different Neuroscience fields with a special attention to innovative methodological approaches for the study of neuronal function. During the school, the students will also discuss their PhD projects with the other participants, including teachers, thus developing their communication skills and critical view. Finally, one main aim of the school will be to stimulate the interaction and collaboration between the four Universities.
